What is Project Spark?

Project Spark is a multi-genre, user content-driven game currently in development for the Xbox One and Windows 8 by Team Dakota. It features SmartGlass and Kinect support, and allows players to define in-game features, items, and gameplay modes, and share their creation with the community. The game is thought to be a challenger to Sony's LittleBigPlanet series, focusing on collaborative online play and customizable content. Microsoft stated that Project Spark's gameplay is "only possible with the Xbox One's architecture."; its release date was not announced. Beta signups are now available at the Official Site. Check out the E3 2013 Demo for a demonstration of the game.
